We are proud to present our latest and smallest industrial robot from the current MELFA FR series – the RH-2FRH2515-D.

With its precision and payload of up to 2 kg, the industrial robot is ideally suited for intelligent manufacturing in confined cells and for handling the finest of parts. The advanced features and increased performance of this robot not only offer the reliability, but also the efficiency at the highest level of the MELFA FR series.

The RH-2FRH2515-D is the optimal choice for precise handling in compact cells.

It can easily move even the smallest components, for example in the electronics industry. With a precision of +/- 0.01 mm, it can place the finest components or inspect your products. In addition, the industrial robot, with a maximum height of 550 mm, can also be used in compact cells.

The MELFA industrial robot RH-2FRH is part of our high-quality FR series.

Functional safety features with the safety option of the MELFA robot

The DIN ISO-10218 safety standard applies to all robots and ensures safe operation in a variety of applications.

The optional ‘MELFA SafePlus’ safety technology for the FR series robot controllers offers additional functions such as

  • reduced safe speed
  • safe limited plane and safe torque monitoring
  • processing of the safety logic for each safe input/output
  • integration of a position monitoring function

The logic of the safe inputs and outputs can be used to perform safety PLC functions and reduce the space required. This results in cost savings while at the same time meeting all safety requirements.

Use our excellent programming environment for all our robot systems

RT ToolBox3 is an excellent programming environment for Mitsubishi Electric robots and supports all processes from commissioning and troubleshooting to monitoring the robot status.

Among other things, the software can be used to check robot movements and to simulate or measure cycle times live.

In addition, the software's simulation function for up to eight robots is another useful tool for preliminary investigations in robot operation.

Also discover the software's predictive maintenance function, which makes it easy to monitor robot movements, operating status and servo conditions.

Integrate your MELFA FR robot into the Mitsubishi Electric Asset Portal

The robots of the FR series can be integrated into the Mitsubishi Electric Asset Portal. A free template, which only requires the name and address of the robot, ensures easy setup.

The Mitsubishi Electric Asset Portal makes it easy to manage all production equipment from a central location. With transparent insights into production processes and the use of integrated analysis tools, potential optimisation opportunities can be easily identified.

The portal's unique feature is its ability to seamlessly integrate all devices, regardless of manufacturer, by using open standards. This offers the advantage of all devices being accessible via a user-friendly tool.
