HMI operating devices from the GOT2000 series
Rapid technological developments are influencing work processes in almost every industry. To remain competitive, manufacturers are therefore constantly looking for the latest and best innovations, strategies and systems. The increasing demand for IoT solutions such as accessible information at all levels, predictive and preventive maintenance, mobile and cloud solutions, security, seamless integration, plug & play, etc. is often expensive and complex. Of course, all this can be covered with hardware and software of all kinds. But is that what you want?
A standard operating device with many additional functions
A standard product that can cover the majority of requirements, is easy to programme and only requires a programming software package would be practical.
With their large number of control panels, the HMI GOT2000 operating devices offer many additional standard functions that prevent disruptions to the automation process.
These functions help to reduce downtime, enable quick recovery from simple faults, increase availability and improve production efficiency.
GOT Mobile – Access whenever you want
Various functions for maintenance, troubleshooting and diagnostics are available as standard. This is practical because you no longer need to use an external PC for commissioning and troubleshooting.
The document function allows you to save complete user manuals or your own start-up documents on the GOT2000, which can then be viewed directly on site.
This is not only easy, but can also enable more efficient on-site support, which in turn leads to increased system uptime.
Integrated Ethernet interfaces
Thanks to the integrated Ethernet interface, users can operate the GOT2000 from a PC (VNC server), smartphone or tablet with GOT Mobile. Also interesting for large screens in production halls, for example with an overview of the production status (OEE).
With GOT Mobile, up to five users can access the application at the same time. The authorisation hierarchy prevents accidents that could be caused by simultaneous operation in the same network. When interacting with the GOT network, passwords are set for monitoring and control.
MES-Interface
In addition, the GOT2000 can communicate directly with SQL, Oracle and Access databases using the MES interface function, eliminating the need for gateway PCs or complex programming.
The multi-channel function with internal drivers for the most common control systems ensures that the control systems of all machines that make up the production line can be connected, including those from other manufacturers such as Mitsubishi Electric. In this way, centralised control can be implemented and recipes, machine settings, label information etc. are easily available from a database via the MES interface.
Data logs and backup functions
The GOT2000 has extensive data logging functions and a handy backup/restore function, it displays the log data so that quick fault analysis can be carried out without using a PC.
Logging data from PLCs and other devices is also valuable and crucial for the food and pharmaceutical industries. The data is displayed in lists or in graphical form so that the data can be easily analysed. Using the integrated web server functionality, it is possible to access the GOT2000 from a PC via a standard web browser. The status of the process can also be monitored with a PC, smartphone or tablet using the GOT Mobile function.
GOT Drive for drive systems
Requirements that cannot be solved with a frequency inverter, servo or industrial robot alone can now be solved with the GOT Drive functions.
By integrating the functions of the drive systems, many useful functions are created that are designed in such a way that no additional hardware or software is required. At the same time, it adapts to the customer's applications, e.g. to implement central monitoring, speed up commissioning, improve predictive and preventive maintenance and optimise troubleshooting and diagnostics.
Programming via GT Works3
GOT Drive is programmed using the GT Works3 programming software. The object libraries and predefined templates for Mitsubishi Electric automation devices integrated into this software enable quick set-up and allow efficient and effective commissioning.
Wide-Screen - Wide screen display
The two new graphic operating terminals (GOT HMIs) complete the range of wide models. The 12.1-inch widescreen models with a narrow frame in the frame colours Smart Silver (GT2512-WXTSD) or Cool Black (GT2512-WXTBD) meet customer requirements for a wider screen.
In the event of restricted access to production, these new widescreen GOTs, like the other GOTs in the GT25 range, support remote connections, such as accessing the local GOT with the Soft GOT Link function or retrieving live data via the GOT Mobile function.
New: Protective films against viruses and bacteria
Antibacterial and antiviral protective films are now available for the standard GT27 and GT25 GOTs in the 12.1, 10.4 and 8.4 inch sizes. The SIAA-certified films have been proven to inactivate 99.99% of viruses in a typical environment and reduce bacterial growth to less than 1/100.
Mitsubishi Electric GOT2000 HMI Operating devices
The HMI GOT2000 series from Mitsubishi Electric offers fast, intuitive and reliable touchscreen operator guidance via touchscreen, as well as the best possible device and process monitoring thanks to the many additional options and functions. The panels are available in standard, widescreen, robust handheld and open-frame versions from 3.8 to 15 inches.
