Action in the environmental protection sector in Germany

In 1996 Mitsubishi Electric Europe B.V. was formed as a wholly owned subsidiary of Mitsubishi Electric Corporation and took over all Mitsubishi Electric's European sales and marketing business.
Our branch received the ISO 14001 certification in April 2011. In addition, ISO 14001 certification has been obtained for the plants and R&D departments in Japan and other countries whose products we supply to you, the customer.

In addition, we are also participating in the following schemes, for instance:
  • The GRS joint battery recovery scheme, No. 10105448 (for Mechatronic Machinery / CNC, Living Environment Systems and Factory Automation)
  • Packages No. 102573 (Partner: Reclay Systems GmbH)

The German branch of Mitsubishi Electric Europe B.V. is a founder member of “Stiftung Elektro Altgeräteregister” (EAR) (Foundation for the Waste Electrical Equipment Register) based in Fürth, which is in charge of enforcing the German Electrical Appliance Act. We implement the WEEE Directive 2012/19/EU the European Commission entered into force on 4 July 2012 about electrical and electronic equipment.
